Itoman city is known as a city of Uminchu (sea people/fisherman) and it is said that during the Ryukyu Dynasty. The Uminchu of that era were still honored as heroes who crossed the sea, and the town where they lived is called Yakala (Here) Street. Our school is located next to the street and this city warmly welcomes International students from diverse cultures.
There is an environment where ”raised in the region” in this place, and we hope that the spirit of Yuimar (helping each other)” and indomitable soul cultivated in Okinawa will be their first step in the Japanese land and also hope that they will play an active role in Japanese society in the future.
